The Two Brothers combines elements of film and theatre to tell the fairy tale style story of two brothers: one who leaves behind his home in search of adventure, and another who stays behind. The project consists of two primary, related components: a physical set constructed of cut and folded paper, and digitally back projected video which illuminates the ground and front windows and doors of the set.

Thought the complete set was constructed, only mock ups of a few excerpts from the video portion have been produced at this point. This project was an experiment in using this techique for story telling, originally intended as a study for a larger, similar project. As the set took shape, it became clear that this project would stand well on its own, and I am still interested in completing the video aspect of this work in the future.
